So I had the opportunity to read this book as an ARC for an honest review and honest is what you get!
Leslie returns home after her father takes ill. She has been gone for eight years with virtually no contact with her mother. She had only been in contact with her dad through out this time.
What made her run away for home? Well that’s something I don’t want to spoil for you, but it DID have something to do with a fellow named, Ethan. Her next door neighbor/ boyfriend.
Leslie was a ballerina and her mother was very strict. Eat, sleep, ballet and the eating was optional. Ethan did not fit into her plans.
When Leslie returns, she was bound to run into Ethan sooner or later. When it happens, she wanted nothing to do with him. He has his chance, it was gone and she was done. Or was she.
You see when you are in love with someone for the first time, do you ever really stop loving them? This story has several leaps and bounds. It is taking care of your demons from your past, just so you can move forward. It is very healing to do so. Only, there may be bumps along the way!
I love rekindled romance, I am just going to leave it at that. 😉
