Review: Hope Over Fear (Over #1)

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Pages: 264

Goodreads Summary:

Today is the day – the day that the man I love marries someone else. I don’t deserve pity or sympathy. I’ve made my bed. I left Mason and ripped his heart to pieces as I ran away. The guilt and sorrow consume me, threatening to choke me everyday.

But today is a new beginning. Today is the day I will wake up with a renewed resolve and determination to do better … to be better … to be worthy. My name is Sara Preston, and this is my story about what happens after

I hopped in to this one without reading the blurb, which is something I do randomly, every now and then.

I am glad I grabbed this one because it is a series and within two days, I had finished them all.

Sara is a registered nurse in the labor and delivery unit who started working a second job working with adoptions with the out reach center in her town.

She has been a single girl since she broke her ex’s heart in college. Mason was her best friend turned lover, but he just wasn’t it for her. There wasn’t enough chemistry or spark, so she ended it.

Since Mason, she had basically sworn off men, because she was feeling guilty. But Mason recovered and moved on, why couldn’t she?

Well then enters Adam. He works at the outreach center as well and he turns Sara’s head. Sara tries so hard to resist him, the keep him from her secrets, but he has secrets too.

The book is about choosing love over fear, over your past, over everything.

The series is one that you really need to check out! Each one unique, follow Sara and her best friends. They are all amazing books! I am hoping we get one more book, to learn more about Marlo! Maybe I am wishful thinking
