Five thousand stars!
This book. I was on Facebook Sunday and literally EVERYONE was speaking of this book! I had to get my hands on it. I had to check this out. It is my very first from the incredible K. Webster, and it will be the first of MANY! This author writes GOLD.
I will try to be as spoiler free as possible with my review. The book begins with a prologue that sinks its hooks into you and you are in it until the end. We meet Casey Doe. Casey is a young woman on the cusp of her 18th birthday. She has had a rough life, she is not your average normal teenager girl, far from it.
Enters Tyler Kline, possible knight in shining armor. He swoops in and saves Casey, but ends up giving her Torin.
“She stifles my breath sometimes. Simply from looking at her. Like just her presence sucks the breath right from my lungs.”
Torin is complicated, he is beautiful, he is smart. Casey is exactly what he needs, but will she accept him for who he is?
This beautiful story is filled a subject matter that doesn’t get written about enough. It is all about DIVERSITY. More and more authors need to add this into their writings. Why should love be with just a normal man and woman, two perfect humans with no problems. Sure, its fiction. Why can’t we have more flawed people in books? Because that is what we all are in real life any ways.
Holy Cannoli Batman. All I am saying is you need to check out this book and this author, because I did and I am so happy to have found her! On to the next review and it is another book by K. Webster and it’s on AMAZON’S BANNED LIST! Check it out next!
